IPIX AdMission to Become an Independent Company Focused on Directional Advertising Technology Solutions

Newly Formed AdMission, Inc. Spins Off from IPIX Corporation to Accelerate Its Enhanced Advertising Marketplace Leadership

San Ramon, CA – January 11, 2005 - AdMission, Inc. today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with IPIX Corporation to create an independent, private company by acquiring the assets of the IPIX AdMission business unit. The closing of the transaction is subject to certain conditions and is expected to take place within 30 days. The new company will continue to focus on directional advertising technology solutions for newspaper classifieds, yellow pages, online directories and other local search markets where it has established significant market leadership.

Swiftsure Capital, a Seattle private equity firm, is joining AdMission management in the acquisition of the business unit from IPIX, a move planned to boost new product development and customer growth activities in this rapidly emerging marketplace. IPIX Corporation will retain equity in the new company and maintain representation on AdMission's board of directors.
