Cox Newspapers Build on Success with AdMission

Austin American-Statesman and Atlanta Journal-Constitution Upgrade to AdMission Classifieds; Ten New Cox Properties AdMission Enabled by Q3 2005

San Ramon, CA – June 7, 2005 - AdMission Corporation, a provider of directional advertising solutions, today announced that The Austin American-Statesman and Atlanta Journal-Constitution have upgraded to AdMission Classifieds 2.0. The two Cox properties first launched photo ads in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Both have now upgraded their solutions, choosing from select 2.0 features including multiple images, expanded descriptions, e-commerce and word-of-mouth marketing components. Inspired by the success of those implementations, 10 additional Cox properties including the Palm Beach Post (FL), The Daily Sentinel (CO), and all 8 Cox Ohio publications will be AdMission enhanced by the end of Q3 2005.

Cox is one of the nation's largest newspaper publishing enterprises and publishes 17 daily and 30 non-daily newspapers. The Austin American-Statesman and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution have been successfully offering enhanced ads to their classifieds customers, and have both expanded their programs to include online and call center implementations. The Austin American-Statesman was particularly interested in an e-commerce solution that would help them compete with online-only players in their market. "AdMission Classifieds is the only photo ad solution I am aware of that has proven itself in the national market with Fortune® 500 auction and e-commerce providers," said Tom Linehan, online business manager for the Austin American-Statesman.

Florida's Palm Beach Post went live with AdMission Classifieds 2.0 in April. The Daily Sentinel in Grand Junction, CO and all 8 Cox Ohio properties will begin offering their advertisers ads with e-commerce in the June/July 2005 timeframe. "We looked at several options to provide our customers with enhanced ads," said Michael Prater, Internet technical manager, Cox Ohio Publishing. "The AdMission platform was an easy choice because a vendor relationship was already in place, plus it was a solution with all of the proven features and functionality that we were looking for."

"Cox was one of the first newspaper groups to recognize the critical importance of providing media-rich interactive ads to today's advertisers and consumers," said Sarah Pate, AdMission Corporation president & CEO. "Working with Austin and with Atlanta, both directly and via our channel partner AdStar, are excellent examples of the many ways we can work with publishers to increase revenue and market reach in an increasingly competitive world. We look forward to the upcoming launches this quarter, and a continued successful association with each of Cox's newspaper publishers."
