San Ramon, CA – August 2, 2006 - AdMission Corporation, a provider of local advertising solutions, today announced that Hearst Newspapers has entered into a corporate agreement to offer all Hearst newspapers the full suite of AdMission self-serve ad placement products. Hearst's newspapers may now quickly implement AdMission's Classifieds, Spotlight Ads, Directories or Marketplace solutions as a part of their online and print advertising strategies. The Houston Chronicle went live with their first solution, AdMission Classifieds, in June and the San Francisco Chronicle is currently planning integration of AdMission Marketplace.
Hearst publishes 12 daily and eight weekly newspapers in some of the most tech-savvy markets in the U.S including San Francisco and Seattle. The company also has a strong foothold in yellow pages with 83 directories producing 11 million copies in 12 states.
"Hearst is at the forefront of driving value for local advertisers," said Sarah Pate, president and CEO of AdMission Corporation. "Each Hearst property has different strategic needs, but is looking for the most effective method to serve private party and local business advertisers. By opting to license the entire suite of AdMission products, Hearst has secured access to highly effective tools that showcase targeted ad content using rich visual display and a high degree of consumer interaction to qualified leads.
