AdMission Enhances Platform to Deliver
Adaptive Rich Media Ads

Proprietary technology leverages publisher targeting data to customize online display ads with dynamically generated live product inventory

SAN RAMON, CA – DECEMBER 5, 2007 - AdMission Corporation, the leading provider of next-generation online display advertising solutions, today announced the release of major enhancements to the AdMission advertising platform, giving advertisers the ability to create and distribute adaptive rich media online ads. The AdMission platform now streamlines the online display advertising process from creation to conversion by merging branded templates with product inventory in real time, and adapting those ads based on targeting data provided by publishers.

AdMission's new ad creator features multiple template choices to customize branding, special offers and messaging. The ads are then dynamically assembled from branding assets and a database of live product inventory. Because AdMission has preprocessed the product inventory, landing pages can also be generated on the fly for each unique piece of inventory contained in the ad unit to drive increased consumer engagement and conversion.

"AdMission's automation of local inventory – or 'near' automation – is a real innovation," said Peter Krasilovsky, marketplaces program director for The Kelsey Group, Princeton, NJ. "Up to now, inventory has always been too difficult to manage, whether it is for car dealers, real estate brokerages or any other businesses with lots of listings."

Targeted ad personalization can be triggered by publishers who have unique insights into their users through existing contextual, behavioral, and demographic targeting technologies. Rich media engagement features may also be activated including ad expansion, video playback and live, in-ad product searches. The result is hybrid direct response/display ads that perform an average of 2-3X better than traditional display ads.

"I especially like the way that AdMission has combined its inventory feature with direct response," adds Krasilovsky. "The ease of ad creation and targeted distribution really brings the direct marketing benefits of search and IYP to brand advertisers."

"Over 12 billion dollars has changed hands in the ad serving and ad targeting space this year to acquire online advertising technology and infrastructure," said Sarah Pate, president and CEO of AdMission Corporation. "While targeting technologies continue to evolve at a rapid pace, most ads are still being built and delivered the way they were five years ago. Static ads are created by a designer and trafficked one-by-one through a Web server. By automating the ad creation process with template functionality and assembling ads dynamically with live product inventory, AdMission is making online ads more relevant for consumers and more accessible, even to smaller advertisers."

Because AdMission's adaptive ads are assembled dynamically from a collection of ad components, two consumers shopping for one make of car but two different models – one for a sports car and one for a minivan – could each receive a version of the same ad but with live inventory featuring targeted models as the content. The need for separate creative assets for each individual product offer is eliminated, driving increased efficiencies for advertisers and agencies alike.

The AdMission advertising platform enhancements include:

  • Targeting: Publishers may pass in variables to personalize custom-tailored ads with matching product inventory
  • Direct Search: Permits a user to search product inventory directly within the ad unit
  • Data Normalization: Allows an advertiser to import inventory data from any source and standardize it for targeted ad delivery
  • Inventory Filtering: Allows an advertiser to build campaigns around specific product inventory attributes
  • Ad Creation: Templated process for the creation and distribution of dynamic display ads across a variety of IAB-standard formats
  • Conversion: Dynamically generated landing pages with lead generation and full interaction tracking and reporting
  • Brand Control: “White labeled” ad creation tools allow national and regional control over branding elements, while providing local direct response and inventory insertion

AdMission ads are compatible with leading third-party ad servers and can be distributed throughout ad networks and websites. Examples of actual ads – as well as a demo enabling advertisers to build their own ads – can be viewed at the newly updated www.admission.net/gallery.
